About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Portfolio Manager to join our Release & Test community at Aviva plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the test team and embedding a quality-first approach to testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the test team and manage the delivery of testing outcomes across London Markets, ensuring timely test risk mitigations.

  • Advocate for continuous improvements, responsible for baselining testing metrics to drive optimization, efficiency, automation, and quality improvements.

  • Collaborate with senior Business & IT leaders, demonstrating strong leadership skills and experience in working with combined teams of permanent and partner capability delivery quality outcomes.

  • Provide timely and concise stakeholder communications, reporting progress and risks to senior leaders.

Requirements

  • London Market Insurance experience and understanding of Lloyds Blueprint 2 programme, including messaging and common data standards.

  • Experience implementing and maintaining test frameworks, data strategies, and test automation roadmaps for senior stakeholders and technical audiences.

  • Ability to engage with and manage suppliers across a complex environment, defining and implementing test processes in Aviva across multiple projects.

  • In-depth understanding of risk management, issues, and interdependencies as they relate to projects/programs.
