Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Toomebridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for employees across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage payments to subcontractors under RCT and CIS schemes, and compile aged creditor analysis.
  • Handle administrative tasks for new hires and terminations, including statutory payments, RTI submissions, and preparation of P45s and P60s.
  • Assist with year-end procedures and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Work closely with other departments and colleagues to maintain financial records and systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a comparable role, with up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, including pivot tables and Macros.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to adapt to change.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Proficiency in Brightpay and Sage payroll systems.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet and Trial Balance.
  • Level 5 qualification in Business Administration, Payroll Management, or a related field.
