Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at Centum Engineering. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for employees across the UK and Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance, administrative, and tax regulations.
  • Manage subcontractor orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Administer new hires and terminations, including statutory payments and RTI submissions.
  • Prepare and submit P45s, P60s, and other relevant forms.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate financial information and systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with Brightpay/Sage payroll software.
  • Level 5 qualification in business administration or a related field.
