About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative mechanical designs that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and Creo.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Produce technical drawings and documentation to support design and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth assembly and testing of products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical design and engineering.
Requirements
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a design engineering or CAD operation role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and experience with sheet metal design.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
