Job Title: Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Hillcrest Estate Management. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with industry legislation and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage service charge accounts, including statutory accounts and HMRC documentation.
  • Meet performance KPIs and targets set by the company.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including clients and third-party vendors.
  • Manage financial integration of new sites and resolve any queries or issues that may arise.
  • Prepare VAT reports, budgets, and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Prepare FTT (Financial Transaction Tax) reports and ensure timely submission.
Requirements:
  • Possess a professional Accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy/financial environment, preferably within the residential property management sector.
  • Have sound book-keeping knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Be inquisitive and able to identify weaknesses and offer process improvements.
  • Have attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.
