Financial Operations Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Team One Recruitment. As a senior accounting professional, you will play a key role in managing various financial tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage accounts payable and supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing and credit control, to maintain a healthy cash flow
* Perform and manage banking cash records, payments, and receipts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
* Recharge costs and assist with monthly journals, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end processes
* Conduct monthly sales activity reporting using Microsoft Excel, providing valuable insights for business decisions
* Maintain fixed assets and perform depreciation calculations monthly, ensuring accurate financial reporting
* Assist with quarterly VAT preparation and support the annual preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and the audit process

**Requirements**

* Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
* Working experience of an SME accountancy package, ideally Sage 50
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
