About the Role:

The successful CDM Advisor will be an integral part of our consultancy team, ensuring that all projects comply with the latest CDM regulations and providing expert advice on health and safety issues. You will work closely with project teams, assisting them in all aspects of design and regulatory compliance across industries such as logistics, warehousing & industrial, residential, retail, and commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on CDM regulations and health and safety best practices.
  • Assisting project teams with design and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conducting health and safety audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Developing and managing pre-construction information to ensure a smooth project delivery.
  • Conducting design risk assessments and reviewing construction phase plans to mitigate potential risks.
  • Delivering training and workshops on CDM and health and safety to project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • A background in construction or design, with a focus on health and safety.
  • Extensive experience in delivering CDM Advisor services, with a proven track record of success.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Consultancy experience is highly desirable, with a focus on health and safety.
