Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: Up to £62,000 dependent on experience

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Products commercial team at BAE Systems as a Commercial Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial excellence across the Radar sector, working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead negotiations with customers and stakeholders to secure contracts and agreements
  • Provide commercial guidance and support to the Radar Senior Commercial Manager to ensure high levels of operational and functional performance
  • Manage complex domestic and export bids and projects, including pricing and business winning strategies
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the management and development of the overall commercial team

Requirements:

  • Established commercial background within the military/defence sector for both UK MOD and export customers
  • In-depth professional knowledge of commercial principles, techniques, and practices
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Confident presenting and communication skills
