Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Commercial Finance team at Sykes Cottages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with budget holders to support the delivery of budgeted targets, identifying and mitigating risks, and unlocking opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a Commercial Finance Analyst, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of financial objectives.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of commercial finance principles and practices.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in managing a team.
  • Communication and Influencing: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
