Job Summary:

Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading the month-end reporting, consolidation of company accounts, cash flow forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Consolidate company accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Present key financial information to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and banking partners.
  • Lead the development and improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems.
  • Manage a small finance team to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background.
  • Developed technical accounting skills with experience in a business services organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner with all areas of the business.
