Job Title: Homelessness Prevention Floating Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Housing Options Team as a Homelessness Prevention Floating Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing practical support to clients threatened with homelessness, helping them to sustain their current accommodation and access essential services.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with our Homelessness and Housing Advice Officers to support a caseload of clients requiring practical assistance to maintain their accommodation.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to address clients' specific needs, including access to benefits, debt management, and general practical support.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and services to ensure clients receive comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Manage pressure situations and demands from clients, providing empathetic and professional support at all times.
