Forensic Social Work Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Social Worker to join our team at Mbi Staffing. As a Forensic Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality social care services to patients in a medium secure hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver care plans that ensure patients receive a holistic standard of care.
- Identify and address social issues that may impact patient care, ensuring risk assessments and care plans are comprehensive and effective.
- Establish and maintain links between the care team, community teams, and patients' families/carers to ensure seamless care transitions and early discharge planning.
- Act as the Hospital's Designated Safeguarding Officer, maintaining links with Enfield Council and escalating safeguarding concerns as necessary.
- Investigate incidents and complaints, providing feedback to the Senior Management Team and supporting carers and family members of patients.
- Deliver supervision to members of your team, managing annual leave, caseloads, and ensuring team members meet expectations and achieve KPIs.
- Good understanding of the forensic framework and policies/protocols within a medium secure hospital.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring high-quality care and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex social issues.
