Job Title: Supply Chain & Planning Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in supply chain management? Do you have a passion for planning and coordination? We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain & Planning Manager to join our team at VANRATH.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain and planning functions for our client, a leading Property Services Contractor. This will involve overseeing the planning process, managing sub-contractors and supply chain partners, and ensuring that all contract works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage KPIs with clients daily using daily huddles and dashboards
  • Chair meetings with depot supervisors, planners, and administration team
  • Drive H&S compliance in all work practices
  • Set up and manage sub-contractor KPI system
  • Report on KPIs at internal meetings
  • Chair meetings to address poor performances
  • Ensure sub-contractors comply with work processes
  • Manage applications, including Accuserv, C-View, and Accumobile
  • Own planning work with depot planning team
  • Set and drive planning standards
  • Monitor job numbers and workflows
  • Support Head of Operations on contract matters
  • Liaise with QS department on QS matters
  • Manage KPIs with prompt daily corrective actions
  • Support team management and people management activities
  • Assist with and champion Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives
Requirements:
  • Prior knowledge of basic property maintenance
  • IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid UK driver's licence
  • Ability to foster a team ethic
  • Ability to focus and remain calm under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
Desirable Criteria:
  • CSR Supervisor Card or NVQ equivalent
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Previous experience working on NIHE contracts
