Product Technologist (Drinks & Non-Food)

Nando's is on the lookout for a skilled Product Technologist to enhance their team. This position is crucial for ensuring that all products and suppliers within the Drinks & Non-Food category align with Nando's high standards. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing the supply chain, establishing protocols for food safety, and remaining abreast of industry developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and enhance the supply chain performance
  • Guarantee that new product developments and partners comply with food policy standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create systems and procedures
  • Keep updated on industry trends and regulatory updates
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food production or retail
  • Familiarity with BRCGS/GFSI certification standards
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience in customer service and handling complaints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Food Science or a related field
  • HACCP Min Level 3 certification
  • Certification in Allergen Management
  • Understanding of food labeling and legal requirements

Role Requirements:
