Job Summary:

The Client Support Accountant is a key role within our team at PMS Managing Estates, a leading property management company. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with a range of accounting functions, supporting the Senior Client Support Accountant and Client Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Administration: Assist with the receipting and allocation of payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to accounting queries via email and telephone, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  3. Service Charge Budgeting: Prepare and manage service charge budget templates, running demands, and maintaining departmental control sheets.
  4. Year-End Activities: Assist with year-end activities, including the distribution of year-end service charge accounts and the setup of new business sites to our property management system.
  5. Team Support: Provide assistance to Property Managers as required, ensuring seamless support and collaboration.

Requirements:

  1. Accounting Qualification: Ideally possess a relevant accountancy qualification or be working towards (AAT/CIMA/QBE).
  2. Administrative Skills: Excellent administration and organization skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  3. IT Skills: Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. Service Charge Experience: Service charge accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
