About the Pelham Road Service

The Pelham Road Service will be a new self-contained flats complex designed for individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and Complex needs. We are building a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional support and empowering residents to live fulfilling lives.

Your Role as a Support Professional

As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily living activities, personal development, and social integration. You will work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents in engaging in a wide range of preferred activities, including sports, leisure pursuits, and community events.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in group activities to foster a sense of belonging.
  • Promote independence and self-advocacy by empowering residents to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and progress.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, or Complex needs.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to drive as part of support duties.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in Trauma Informed care.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions.
