Job Summary
We are looking for a talented professional to drive business growth and expansion through sales and marketing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting and selling our portfolio of high-quality niche events to mid- and senior-level business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and key performance indicators as set down by the management team.
- Generate new business and increase sales from existing clients.
- Effectively communicate the value of our conferences to senior executives and potential attendees.
- Work closely with the team to deliver successful events.
- Sell our conference offerings to the needs of prospective attendees and find new ways to communicate the value proposition.
- Provide first-class customer service to all clients and prospects.
- Project a professional and confident aura about our conferences to generate a 'buy-in' from potential clients.
Requirements
- Prior business-to-business sales experience is preferred but not essential.
- Confident in dealing with individuals from very senior backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to identify audience and stay focused to achieve sales goals.
- Experience in self-generating sales leads and working off warm leads.
- Good IT skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of a European language is a plus.
