Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
- Manage a portfolio of new and existing customers, working with a 3rd party field sales team to ensure contact strategy is delivered.
- Plan, execute, and track regional field sales team campaigns in line with brand and sales objectives.
- Play a key role in defining and executing the "Perfect City" strategy in London.
- Build strong and sustainable customer relationships, approaching everything with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Manage the regional capex budget to deliver best ROI, ensuring all existing capex equipment is tracked.
- Ensure all Joint Business Plans (JBPs) are agreed and documented, and all customer documents are scanned and stored in a central location.
- Approve P&L and investment spend/business cases with customers within the financial framework.
- Lead large-scale and complex customer negotiations, working within the legal framework.
- Work cross-functionally with regional/national RTM partners to grow distribution and availability of the full portfolio at an outlet level.
- Consistently review field sales team KPI performance, sharing feedback with individuals via in-market field accompaniment.
- Complete all administrative tasks in full and on time.
- Work with relevant departments and teams to build improved business plans.
Key Requirements:
- Line Manager Excellence, including recruitment, development, and training.
- Significant working experience in a sales environment and a track record of growing and developing regions/channels.
- Finance Acumen, with experience managing end-to-end P&L.
- Lead New Business Development strategy within the region.
- Customer Account Management of top regional customers with P&L ownership.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Good communication and "people skills".
- Demonstrable customer-focused attitude.
- Resilience and tenacity.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office suite, and ability to understand and utilise other sales systems.
