Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Inspection Engineer to join our team at Speedy Hire Plc. As a leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, we require an individual with expertise in lifting equipment inspection, testing, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform load testing, pull testing, and destructive testing as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Support the development and implementation of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the lifting equipment industry.
  • LEEA certification.
  • Entry-level Engineering or Mechanics qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Full training will be provided, but experience in an engineering environment is desirable.
