Job Summary

Stork UK is seeking a highly skilled UKAS RG2 Category 3 Inspection Engineer to join our team of asset integrity specialists. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting in-service plant inspections and ensuring the integrity of our clients' pressure systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct invasive visual examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with Written Schemes of Examination (WSE)
  • Prepare inspection work scopes to satisfy WSE requirements, including specifying access, insulation removal, and NDT requirements
  • Interface with NDT teams to provide clarification on NDT inspection techniques and ensure integrity objectives are met
  • Prepare high-quality inspection reports accurately describing the assets' condition
  • Grade corrosion against company procedure corrosion scales and raise mandatory defects when acceptable limits are breached
  • Review PRV certification and ensure devices are correctly set and overhauled/tested on a set frequency
  • Participate in the Risk-Based Assessment program for pressure systems equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have in-service inspection experience of process piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and PRVs, as well as knowledge of accompanying design codes. You will also need to understand PSSR and have experience creating work scopes to carry out examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with WSE.

  • ASME Plant Inspector Level 1/2 certification
  • API 570 Pipe Inspection certification
  • API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Certification
  • API 653 Tank Inspection Certification
  • EMMUA 159 Certification
