About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Advocate to join our team at Aon Corporation. As a Senior Claims Advocate, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of global D&O and associated Financial Lines claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on coverage and perform in-depth analysis of coverage-related issues for clients and stakeholders to facilitate the settlement and conclusion of claims.
- Lead the claims negotiation process with clients, underwriters, and their appointed legal representatives, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and present strategic plans to clients to resolve complex claims, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in managing Financial Lines/Directors & Officers claims, either in private practice or for an insurer or broker.
- Strong knowledge of professional and financial lines claims, including professional indemnity or crime insurance.
- Deep understanding of claims coverage issues, wordings, and dispute resolution.
