About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our innovative team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering psychological treatments for inpatient wards, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cognitive behavioural therapy for sleep problems to patients on inpatient wards
  • Support patients to complete routine outcome measure assessments
  • Work closely with the inpatient ward team to identify patients who may benefit from the sleep treatment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological treatments for inpatient wards
Requirements
  • Psychology degree (2:1 or above)
  • Knowledge of the psychological understanding of mental health problems, including insomnia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a team
