Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced therapists and psychologists to provide support to children with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to children with complex mental health needs
- Work closely with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a high-quality educational experience for all students
- Support the development of social, emotional, and behavioral skills in students
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
Requirements:
- Psychology Graduate degree
- Experience working with children with complex mental health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
