Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex mental health needs and special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with complex mental health needs and special educational needs
  • Work closely with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of support

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate degree or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs and mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
