Position: Financial Crime Manager

Compensation: £ per day Umbrella

Work Arrangement: City of London – Onsite 2 days per week

Contract Length: 6 months initially

Hydrogen Group is collaborating with a prominent Financial Services organization in the search for a Financial Crime Manager. This role will report directly to the UK MLRO and is crucial for ensuring adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the MLRO in the oversight of policies, risk evaluations, and compliance reporting.
  • Develop, draft, and review essential Policies, Procedures, and Risk Assessments within a regulatory framework.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Financial Crime and AML, with certifications such as ICA, ACAMs, or equivalent being advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of UK financial crime compliance and familiarity with the regulatory environment in the financial services or payments sector.
  • Demonstrated capability in the formulation, execution, and management of AML and CTF policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the Retail Banking or Payments industry is essential.
