TEACHTECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Insurance Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing damage for buildings insurance claims, managing the entire claims lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with H&S obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess damage for buildings insurance claims and develop a scope of works
- Manage the entire claims lifecycle from survey to satisfactory sign off
- Ensure compliance with H&S obligations and communicate with stakeholders to clarify contract details
- Identify additional cost variation early and ensure costs are agreed prior to completion
- Monitor claim performance and address any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Provide guidance on claims matters to internal teams
- Proven track record of surveying and assessing repairs on private domestic properties
- Experience in dealing with insurance damage (fire, flood, escape of water, storm, subsidence etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of trades and relevant costs within this industry and ability to understand/interpret and produce an accurate schedule of works
- Strong drive to achieve results and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple contracts simultaneously
- Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
