The Role: Strategic Buyer Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Buyer Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with key buyers in the digital advertising ecosystem. You will leverage your deep understanding of the programmatic landscape to identify new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and build lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire and retain high-value buyers in the UK market.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at advertising agencies, trading desks, and brands.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the programmatic advertising space.
  • Present compelling value propositions to buyers, highlighting the benefits of partnering with Index Exchange.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in digital media sales, with a focus on programmatic advertising.
  • A deep understanding of the UK buy-side market and key players within the industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
