Project Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge to work on a project entitled "Immune Hedgehog Signaling Dynamics in Health and Disease".

Research Focus

The project aims to shed light on the dynamics of Hedgehog signaling in immune cells, using cutting-edge techniques such as chromobody technology, bespoke mouse models, and proximity labeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on immune cell signaling and its role in health and disease
  • Develop and implement novel experimental approaches to study Hedgehog signaling dynamics
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments
  • Analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions and inform novel therapeutic strategies
Requirements

We welcome applications from recent graduates or final-year undergraduates who hold or expect to gain a First/Upper Second Class degree in a relevant subject. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, immunology, or a related field, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Funding and Benefits

This four-year studentship is funded by Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and includes full funding for University fees and a stipend of £21,000 per annum for four years.

We welcome applications from both UK and overseas students. Applications are invited from recent graduates or final-year undergraduates who hold or expect to gain a First/Upper Second Class degree in a relevant subject from any recognized university worldwide.
