Job Description

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic and evidence-based care throughout the Orthopaedic pathway.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families
  • Drive service development and staff education in Paediatric Orthopaedics
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Operate autonomously, overseeing the patient journey and making informed decisions
Requirements:
  • Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • At least 5 years postregistration experience in Children's nursing
  • First degree in nursing or a health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in the specialist area with at least 12 months of experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification
  • Experience in audit and research relevant to the specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes with up-to-date Level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Understanding of clinical governance and risk management
