Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Coach and Mentor to join our team at Seetec Business Technology Centre. As an Employment Coach and Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their employment goals and overcome barriers to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of participants, providing guidance, motivation, and support to help them achieve sustainable employment.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and developing personalized employment plans.
  • Work closely with local employers to identify job opportunities and provide job placement support.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure a comprehensive approach to employment support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employment support services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of the local labour market and employment trends.
  • Basic knowledge of self-employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
  • A full driving license.
