About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at J Matthews Legal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our clients in the sports sector.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with our General Counsel to develop and implement legal strategies that align with our business objectives.

You will be responsible for a wide range of commercial, marketing, sponsorship, e-commerce, branding, and licensing matters.

We offer a market-leading remuneration package and the opportunity to work with a high-profile international brand.

As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work from home or in our office located just north of London.

We are looking for a qualified UK Solicitor or other Common Law jurisdiction Lawyer with significant prior relevant experience in the sports sector or a comparable industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients in the sports sector
  • Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives
  • Work closely with the General Counsel to achieve business goals
  • Manage a wide range of commercial, marketing, sponsorship, e-commerce, branding, and licensing matters

Requirements:
