Legal & General Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated Performance Data Analyst to join their Performance and Attribution team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading financial services organization.

As a Performance Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing data for both internal and external funds. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Processing fund data within B-One and conducting ad hoc queries to support performance analysis.
  • Resolving data queries raised by the performance and attribution teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information.
  • Completing tasks within agreed deadlines while adhering to established procedures and controls.
  • Providing efficient service to clients and management, meeting defined service levels and exceeding expectations.
  • Maintaining and enhancing data quality control measures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand client requirements and ensure procedures, processes, and systems effectively meet their needs.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining data workflows.

Who We Are Looking For:

We seek a candidate with a strong understanding of data management principles and experience working with financial data systems. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven knowledge of data management and processing techniques.
  • Experience with data systems and tools such as Python, VBA, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • A solid understanding of the financial data industry and various asset classes.
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income & Equity Attribution data is highly desirable.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • A client-focused approach with a proactive mindset for proposing process improvements.
  • An interest in pursuing Investment Related Qualifications.
  • Experience in asset management functions is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of performance and attribution systems like B-One, Aladdin, and Bloomberg PORT is beneficial.
  • Strong numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail.
