About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Membership Services Assistant to join our team at the University of Leeds. As a key member of our Membership Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our membership services, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the delivery of our membership programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day membership processing, including membership sales, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the Membership Team with administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Membership Team to develop and implement membership strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with other teams across the University to ensure seamless delivery of membership services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a membership or sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of membership management systems and software, preferably in a higher education setting.
