The Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As the Chef Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for our school catering facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team in the kitchen
  • Managing stock, food, and labor costs to ensure profitability
  • Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to students and staff
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing and improving controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development and implementation
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures, and legislation
  • Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. The ideal candidate will have:

  • OND or HND qualification (desirable)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience within a similar environment
