Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Support Officer. As a key member of our Student Support department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service
    • Deliver high-quality customer service to students, staff, and visitors, both in person and via email.
  • Maintain Accurate Student Records
    • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of student records and databases, adhering to data protection regulations.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Handle general administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, and managing office supplies.
  • Support Admissions Process
    • Process applications, conduct interviews, and assist with enrolment procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of customer service standards.
    • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and workloads, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
    • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrating a positive approach to problem-solving.
    • Willingness to learn and develop, contributing to the wider activities of Student Support and the school.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport and trust with students.
    • Proficiency in using IT technology to record and search student data.
  • Desirable Qualifications
    • Higher education experience.
    • Knowledge of counseling techniques to provide emotional support.
