Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our Manufacturing, Testing and Qualification function, you will play a crucial role in providing consultancy services to the Oil and Gas, Process, Nuclear and Renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and lead large-scale Equipment Qualification (EQ) test programmes, including financial and technical governance.
  • Analyse data generated from EQ tests and provide technical documentation.
  • Develop and specify instrumentation and data acquisition test set-ups to meet client requirements.
  • Lead on pre-contract negotiations, including client liaison and tender preparation.
  • Design and calculate bespoke test rigs required for department contracts.
  • Lead internal stakeholder engagement to successfully complete contracts.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering degree and considerable transferrable experience.
  • Experience in structural qualification of components within a relevant sector.
  • Instrumentation and data acquisition experience.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in a component test environment.
