Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer to join our team in Renfrew. As a key member of our Asset Management Business, you will be responsible for leading large-scale Equipment Qualification (EQ) test programmes, including financial and technical governance, data analysis, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project manage and lead EQ test programmes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Analyse data generated from EQ tests and provide technical documentation
  • Develop and specify instrumentation and data acquisition test set-ups to meet client requirements
  • Lead pre-contract negotiations, including client liaison and tender preparation
  • Design and calculate bespoke test rigs for department contracts
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure successful contract completion
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering degree and significant transferrable experience
  • Experience in structural qualification of components, instrumentation, and data acquisition
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in component test environments
