Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to premature and sick babies and their families.

Job Summary

The Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, evidence-based care to our patients. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical care and management of neonates, as well as providing guidance and support to parents and carers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced level of clinical practice within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
  • Assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the clinical care and management of premature, sick babies and their families
  • Provide guidance and counselling to parents/carers/guardians regarding clinical management and support them in decision-making
  • Supervise, advise, support, and train junior doctors and less experienced ANNPs in the unit
  • Promote a high standard of advanced specialist nursing and medical care through evidence-based clinical practice
Requirements
  • RN or RSCN with a degree
  • ANNP qualification to a master's degree from an accredited UK University provider
  • ENB 405 (or equivalent)
  • ENB 998 (or equivalent)
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber
