Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Preston

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £12 - £15 per hour (up to 25 hours per week)

Protocol National Limited is seeking an experienced Inclusive Learning Assistant to support students with learning difficulties/disabilities and literacy/numeracy needs, including those with SEND requirements.

This role involves working within the college's Inclusive Learning department, providing learning support to students with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students on work-placements and Supported Internship, traineeship, and apprenticeship programs
  • Provide learning support to students with learning difficulties/disabilities, literacy/numeracy needs, and those in receipt of High Needs Funding
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans

Requirements:

  • GCSE English & Maths C or above
  • Experience of supporting people in a caring capacity or educational capacity
  • DBS on the Update Service
