Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general classroom support while delivering high-quality interventions in small groups or one-to-one settings.
  • Help children learn through fun and educational activities.
  • Manage a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch, and rest time.
  • Follow the principles of safeguarding to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Ensure each child's cognitive, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Plan and deliver focused learning opportunities for individual children and carry out focused tasks from individual SEND action plans.
  • Work with key workers to discuss each child's individual needs.

Requirements

  • GCSE or A-Level qualifications or equivalent are required.
  • Qualifications relevant to the job are desirable but not required.
  • Care worker background is desirable.
