Job Overview

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health team. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based, specialist care to perinatal, urogynecology, male, and colorectal patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, with experience in assessing and treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role will involve contributing to key aspects of the service, mentoring of Band 5 and students, and supporting the wider Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team. You will also be responsible for promoting and delivering a high-quality, evidence-based, customer-focused service, working within national and local guidelines.

We are looking for a flexible and adaptable individual who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. You will have excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to professional development and will be able to demonstrate evidence of recent professional development relevant to Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
