Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health team at University Hospitals Dorset. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based, specialist care to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including perinatal, urogynecology, male, and colorectal patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions for new services, working collaboratively with consultants, midwives, and other medical practitioners.
  • Mentor and support Band 5 and student physiotherapists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Work effectively with the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team, including cross-site and off-site working, to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons or equivalent) and current HCPC registration.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience in physiotherapy, with a strong background in MSK outpatient services.
  • Experience working in a pelvic health setting, with a proven track record of clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
