We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including suprapubic catheter management, peg feeding, and medication administration.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including wheelchair and hoist transfers.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Experience in complex care, including suprapubic catheter management, peg feeding, and medication administration.
- Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
