Emergency Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking skilled Band 3 Emergency Healthcare Assistants to become integral members of our nursing team at University Hospitals Dorset.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in an Emergency department and have successfully completed their Band 3 nursing competencies or an equivalent qualification.
They should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.This position necessitates the completion of the ED competency booklet.

As a vital team member, you will operate under the guidance of a registered healthcare professional, delivering respectful, compassionate, and safe care to patients while ensuring meticulous documentation standards are upheld.

Essential Criteria: Care certificate (willingness to obtain)
Desirable Criteria: Healthcare-related NVQ
Technical Skills and Competencies:
Essential Criteria: IT literate, capable of taking routine observations, compassionate interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and relatives while remaining sensitive and empathetic, experienced in delivering personal care, and proficient in taking neurological observations.
Desirable Criteria: Venepuncture, Cannulation
Experience:
