About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate hospitality events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  2. Supervise and train a team of hospitality staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  3. Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to achieve budget targets.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  5. Collaborate with the catering manager and head chef to ensure seamless execution of events and menus.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in hospitality management.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to improve hospitality services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Basic food handling skills certification and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
