Job Summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a highly skilled Quality Management System Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Quality senior management team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring an effective quality management system (QMS) that ensures the safety and efficacy of our products and services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a QMS that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of Quality Assurance specialists in the development and implementation of quality systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational areas on quality management and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement quality improvements and safety enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain quality expertise and systems required to deliver an efficient and effective QMS.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality management and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
