ITIL Service Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled ITIL Service Lead to join our team at Staffordshire Police. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of excellent IT customer services across the force.
Key Responsibilities- Manage vendor relationships to ensure maximum value and effective contract management.
- Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Oversee change management to minimize disruption to IT services.
- Ensure accurate configuration management and release management to protect the integrity of the live environment.
- Manage asset management to ensure accurate information about technology assets.
- Lead service transition to ensure products are fit for purpose and meet agreed service acceptance criteria.
You will have significant experience in overseeing IT change and/or release management in a large organization, with a strong background in best practice change management methodologies.
You will be experienced in managing assets and have a working knowledge of TCP/IP and firewalls, as well as technologies and infrastructure.
You will hold ITIL v3 or v4, a recognized project management qualification, and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
