About the Role

The ITIL Service Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT service delivery, including incident and problem management, change management, configuration management, release management, and asset management. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all IT services are delivered to the highest standards and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the IT service desk and ensure that all incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement effective change management processes to ensure that all changes are properly assessed and approved before implementation.
  • Manage the configuration of all IT assets and ensure that all configuration items are properly documented and maintained.
  • Oversee the release of new IT services and ensure that all releases are properly tested and validated before deployment.
  • Manage the asset lifecycle of all IT assets and ensure that all assets are properly disposed of when no longer required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience of overseeing IT change and/or release management in a large organization, as well as being competent in best practice change management methodologies. You will also need to have excellent stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills.

You will need to hold ITIL v3 or v4, a recognized project management qualification, as well as a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience. You will also need to have a strong understanding of TCP/IP and firewalls, as well as technologies and infrastructure.
