LTF Recruitment is seeking a patient and committed Educational Support Assistant to become a valuable member of our partner primary institution. This rewarding position offers the chance to significantly impact students' learning experiences by assisting the classroom teacher in fostering a constructive and encouraging atmosphere. The institution is eager to find the ideal candidate for a long-term engagement, with potential for a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the educational growth and development of students in a focused classroom setting.
- Providing assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom.
- Facilitating small group intervention activities and delivering phonics support.
- Ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential in a supportive and secure environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance and/or at least 12 months of experience in an educational setting.
- Experience in supporting students with SEN.
- Experience working with learners individually and in small groups, along with leading intervention sessions to enhance their educational journey.
- Familiarity with the UK primary education curriculum.
