Comprehensive Hearing Solutions

At Veritas Hearing UK, we strive to provide exceptional audiological care to our clients. As a Hearing Aid Dispenser Apprenticeship candidate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Audiologists in delivering advanced hearing solutions and comprehensive hearing health assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fittings and Rehabilitation: You will be responsible for carrying out fittings and customer rehabilitation of hearing aids, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care.
  • Follow-ups and Service Calls: You will also be responsible for all aspects of follow-ups and service/repair calls, as well as aftercare, to ensure that our clients are satisfied with their hearing aids.
  • Referral and Support: You will refer customers to your Mentor Audiologist who are ready to upgrade their existing hearing aids.

Training and Qualifications

As part of this apprenticeship, you will undergo on-the-job and classroom-based training in conjunction with De Montford University in Leicester. Upon completion, you will achieve a Level 5 award in hearing aid dispensing, allowing you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and work under the protected title of 'Hearing Aid Dispenser.'

Requirements

  • Maths and English: You must have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English or equivalent to apply for this apprenticeship.
  • Driving Licence: A driving licence is required due to the domiciliary nature of the role.
  • Teamwork and Communication: You must be able to work independently and as part of a team in both clinic and remote settings, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
